Sara Eustáquio was born in Torres Vedras, Portugal. In high school, she focused her studies on the arts, which led her to direct the short film “4242” (2016) at 16 years old. Following a need to know more about cinema, in 2016 she attended a summer intensive filmmaking program at New York Film Academy, in New York City. As her love for filmmaking grew, she started the Film and Video bachelor’s degree (Class 2021) at California Institute of the Arts, in Los Angeles.
